Tempo Drop（テンポドロップ）は17世紀ヨーロッパが起源の気象観測器「ストームグラス」を元に生まれたインテリアオブジェ。家庭でも気軽に結晶の観察ができるよう、雫をイメージした美しいデザイン。
・日々の変化
ガラスの中には樟脳（しょうのう）を溶かしたエタノールが入っています。天気によって、結晶が減ったり、増えたり変化します。詳しくは解明されていませんが、晴れの日は結晶が沈み、液体が透明になる。雨の日は小さな結晶がいっぱい浮遊。嵐の日は液体の表面に大きな葉っぱ形の結晶ができるようです。結晶現象を観察して解明しながら、未来の天気を予想するのも楽しそうですよね…！

day-to-day change
The glass contains ethanol dissolved in camphor. Depending on the weather, the crystal decreases, increases, and changes. The details are not clear, but on a sunny day, the crystals sink and the liquid becomes transparent. On rainy days, small crystals float. On stormy days, large leaf-shaped crystals appear on the surface of the liquid. It would be fun to predict the weather in the future while observing and figuring out the crystal phenomenon…!
